Under the Landfill Tax Credit Scheme (LTCS), Waste Recycling Environmental
(WREN) distributes funding to a variety of projects and schemes in Cheshire
including historic building preservation, community & public amenity
development and land reclamation.

Joint Household Waste Management Strategy
This strategy has been produced for the Cheshire Local Authorities (Cheshire
County Council and the six District Councils), by consultants AEA Technology.
The report examines current and possible future waste management practices
and forms the basis for the management of Cheshire's household waste
in the future.

Furniture Reuse Forum
The Forum is made
up of 14 projects that work with their local authority to collect quality
furniture throughout Cheshire and onate or sell it at low cost.

The Waste & Resources Action Programme (WRAP) was established in
2001 as part of the UK government's waste strategy 2000 to promote sustainable
waste management. WRAP's particular focus is creating stable and efficient
markets for recycled materials and products.

bins to Cheshire residents.
